Primary email provider election '09

As a follow-up of this thread from 2006, I thought it was time for a new election. For consistency, I called it 2009 even though we are almost halfway through 2010. I wonder if there something is changed in 3 years?

To clarify: This is not what the "Best" provider is, it is what you use as your PRIMARY provider
Unfortunately the number of poll options are maximized to 10.

FastMail = FastMail.fm.
My ISP = The provider who delivers you the access to the Internet.
Other = Another, not on the list.

I presume that "FastMail" means the one with three forums here; there are at least two others of that exact name, though IIRC one of them was banned from EMD for spamming.

...voted for FastMail even though my account was just setup there last week. I had been using free email accounts only through Gmail, and Lavabit, but I'll be keeping those accounts active just in case there's any need to return to them. Gotta wait and see what Opera does with FastMail before I'll know if I'll be sticking around.

As a free email only user, it's still Gmail for me, as it has been for quite awhile now. But at this point I'm feeling that it's mainly out of little more than habit, and I'm seriously thinking about trying to break my inertia and make a change, having continued to gradually "lose faith" in Google, particularly with their recent "Buzz" fiasco, giving me the feeling that they really care about as much about their users' privacy as the operators of Facebook and similar sites, as far as their ultimate priorities.

But I've chosen Gmail for this poll, as it still is my "primary" for now, until I can make up my mind what to replace it with. But at the moment, Zoho is looking like one of the likelier candidates for replacement.

Edit: Oops, I absent-mindedly ticked "other" since I'm looking for another. Oh well...

Other

I really don't have a primary provider. Of the listed services I use EuMX,
GMail, Hotmail/Live, Yahoo and My ISP, plus several others. My usage of each is somewhat scattered no one single service serves as a primary provider.

It's interesting that second place here goes to Gmail. I wonder if any of those accounts are paid?

I'm surprised that 5th is Pobox, I use the service as well. But not as a main account as it's a forwarding service. I guess though that if you have the Pobox Mailstore then it would work out alright

Gmail would actually have been tied with Fastmail had I not absent-mindedly selected "other" instead of Gmail, which is still my "primary" service, if being the only one I check daily (directly) is sufficient to qualify it as such. Which isn't a bad showing, considering that this seems to be a pro-Fastmail-biased website. Of course, if it wasn't "biased" in general, Hotmail and Yahoo would likely leave all the others in the dust, as it were.

Unfortunately the number of poll options on this board are maximized to 10. I had to make my (personal) choice.
